Behind The Scenes: Whip Hand Cosmetics '12 Summer/Fall Campaign Shoot

The only thing hotter than the temperature in Metro-Detroit during our 2012 Summer/Fall Makeup Campaign shoot was the makeup on Whip Hand Cosmetics models Nia Scott and Cassie Keller.

Shot in the midst of a week-long heat wave with temperatures topping 103 degrees on the day of the shoot, we ended up scrapping a series of planned outdoor scenes and instead retreated back into the air-conditioned comfort of the Presidential Suite at the Inn at St. Johns in Plymouth, MI.  In addition to shooting our new mid-summer palettes, we also shot our “Hardboiled! Collection” for Fall -  (we’re holding those photos back until the full campaign launches in the Fall!)
